Booking terms
Every booking with DowBiz Tours, Lda. is a fixed-price contract for the specific vehicle, route and time confirmed by us. Prices are all-in and cover the driver, fuel, tolls, taxes and the extras listed as included on this site. Any add-on (child seat, extra stop, after-hours pickup) is priced up front.
We are licensed by Turismo de Portugal under RNAAT-943/2026 and have operated since 2021 from Lisbon, Portugal.
Cancellation & changes
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
- Within 24 hours: 50% of the fare.
- No-show or cancellation within 2 hours of pickup: full fare.
- Changes to date, time or route more than 24 hours out are free; within 24 hours we do our best subject to fleet availability.
Waiting time
Airport pickups include 60 minutes free waiting from your flight's actual landing time. Other pickups include 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed at €15 per 30 minutes.
Luggage & passengers
Each vehicle has a stated passenger and luggage capacity. If you need more, upgrade to the next vehicle at booking. Oversized items (surfboards, bikes) must be declared in advance.
Privacy
We collect only what we need to run your booking: name, phone, email, pickup and drop-off, and — if you share it — a flight number. Your details go to the driver assigned to your booking and are kept for the legal minimum required by Portuguese tax and tourism authorities, then deleted. We never sell your data and we never send marketing without your permission.

Liability
Our vehicles carry full commercial insurance as required by Portuguese law. We are not liable for delays caused by force majeure — weather, road closures, strikes, or airport disruption — but we will always help you find an alternative and refund unused portions of your fare.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, write to reservations@dowbiztours.com within 14 days. We respond within 48 hours. You can also raise a complaint via the national tourism complaint book (Livro de Reclamações) at livroreclamacoes.pt.
